Meowoodle

This great tumblr only features drawings on cats, my kind of tumblr.

(PS I'm thinking of getting this one tattooed)

Kitten Socks

I love cat paraphenalia as much as the next person but wonder if I were to wear it, if it would scream 'Crazy Cat Lady' too much.  Here are my two new favourites from Eley Kishimoto.

Avant Garde Cat Video from 1940s

Possibly one of the first ever cat videos by film-couple-duo Maya Deren and Alexander Hammid from the 1940s.  It tells the tale of their two cats who get pregnant, give birth, and mostly have a happy cat family.  I love the part where the dad-cat comes to inspect the kittens and tries to give mum-cat a swipe and ends up being cleaned by mum-cat.  The little kittens are so cute!

Read more about it here in The Atlantic.

Cat Island Paradise in Japan

Fubirai has photographed these beautiful cats who live on the island of Fukuoka in Japan.  The photos are part of a five year project and are amazing!  A cat-lady's paradise :)  Photo via buzzfeed.

75 Parisiennes

75 Parisiennes is a collection of images by French photographer, Baudouin, of Parisienne women.  The colour schemes are amazing, and I love how many of the photos have cats in them (one even looks like the cat pushed the woman down the stairs).  See them all here.

Kittens for a Monday

I think I could post about cats everyday of the week but I do try to keep at least a partial lid on the crazy-cat-lady.  Here are three kitten-related items to help with Monday blues.

1) I came across Vine Cats which pull all the kitten goodness from Twitter and Vine in one place, it's great.  (Reminds my of the cat feed from unbaby.me in my facebook news feed).

2) 38 Weird of Wonderful Cat Tattoos

3) This great ad from Cravendale.  The clicking cats remind of the Jets from West Side Story :)

The Cat Scan

To continue my cat-themed, Christmas week, I thought I would post a few photos from The Cat Scan. Kitten toes are so cute!

Pattern Wednesday #8

Happy Boxing Day!

Harriet Gray has long been one of my favourite illustrators (you can find her herehere and here). Her pattern work is quite mesmerising and I really love the hand-drawn aesthetic. She also includes kittens and pugs in her patterns, how could you go wrong?

If Fonts Were Cats

So I know this has done the rounds a few times but I love it.  A few of my favourites are below but you can find all of them here.
